Service terms
Decision support, not a guaranteed result
Switchboard organizes research, evidence, workflow, and recommendations. It does not guarantee adoption, savings, product availability, a favorable recommendation, food safety, legal compliance, or nutritional suitability. Institution owners remain responsible for procurement, allergen, food-safety, nutrition, labor, and service decisions.
Evidence and unknowns
Customer-visible claims should identify their source, date, evidence grade, and scope. Public or supplier-provided information is not buyer-confirmed account evidence. Unknown or stale facts stay unresolved until the applicable verification gate is met.
Applications and paid engagements
Submitting an application is a request for fit review, not an offer, acceptance, contract, payment authorization, or supplier-outreach authorization. A paid decision sprint begins only after the parties accept a versioned statement of work, payment is verified, a decision owner is named, and required baseline inputs and outreach permissions are complete.
Neutrality
For a buyer-paid decision sprint, supplier payments, sponsorship, subscriptions, commissions, and referral relationships must not change the candidate set, rubric, ranking, evidence standard, or recommendation. Conflicts belong in the decision packet. A no-go or conditional-go can be a complete, successful outcome.
Acceptable use
Users must submit information they are authorized to share, protect access credentials, avoid unlawful or deceptive activity, and refrain from using the service to bypass procurement, safety, privacy, or approval requirements. Switchboard may suspend access needed to protect users, evidence integrity, or the service.
Ownership
Each party retains its pre-existing materials and submitted proprietary data. Buyer ownership and license rights in engagement deliverables, and Switchboard rights in software, templates, methods, and general know-how, must be defined in the signed statement of work. Marketing, case-study, and derived-data rights require separate written opt-in.
